Maggie’s main responsibility within LCG is to track and support the process we have to ensure learners get the additional learning support they need.
Before coming to LCG, Maggie completed a fashion, hair and theatrical makeup degree, upon completion she felt that this wasn’t the route she wanted to progress in and chose to apply for an apprenticeship at LCG. Maggie’s main responsibility within LCG is to track and support the process we have to ensure learners get the additional learning support they need. She has been working closely with our Additional Learning Support Manager to determine steps required as this is a new role within the Quality Support Services Team. As well as this, Maggie supports with all other tasks within the team, for example, certificate claiming, completion tracking, exam bookings and customer voice activities.
Maggie’s first week within the team was during our recent Ofsted inspection, although this was a totally new situation for Maggie, she took everything in her stride and was a huge help with pulling together learner case studies to show case to the inspectors.
Maggie has completed training on each provision area within the team and is showing genuine interest in all aspects. I see great potential in Maggie, she is always willing to help and has integrated into the team seamlessly. When I recently asked Maggie, on a scale of 1 – 100 how she would rate herself with regards to her happiness at LCG, she rated herself 100 and said she ‘loved working here.’ I see a true purple person in the making!
The Director of Excellence, which is the directorate Maggie’s team sits within also sings her praises, saying: ‘Maggie has been amazing, she has joined us seamlessly and we already don’t know where we would be without her.’
