Laura Davison, a Customer Service Apprentice (HR/OD) quickly adapted to working from home to provide essential support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Laura Davison, started as a Level 2 Customer Service Apprentice working within the busy HR & OD team in April 2021. Juggling starting a new role with parenthood and working from home she quickly adapted to working from home to provide essential support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Laura made an instant impact within her team managing overflow calls from Northumberland County Council’s COVID-19 staff helpline, providing emotional and practical support for both frontline and home-working staff ensuring they were able to safely and competently perform their duties.
Within just six months of starting her apprenticeship Laura has been successful in gaining a full-time permanent position as an Accounts Receivable Assistant in Revenue and Benefits, whilst still working hard to complete her Customer Services Apprenticeship.
