Sarah is a fully committed team player within the Performance and Compliance team and wider AMRC community. She is thoroughly committed to her role as Management Information Analyst & Funding Officer. Her professionalism in the job she does is outstanding, and this shows with the respect she receives from her work colleagues. She is able to share her knowledge, understanding and experience of the apprenticeship programme with her immediate team which in turn, contributes towards the overall continuous development of the apprenticeship programme at the AMRC Training Centre.
Sarah plays a vital part in the management of data and provision of information at the training centre. She has a very sound knowledge of the sector and the meaning and significance of performance data, coupled with a strong grasp of the factors that can influence it. This enables Sarah to perform data analysis to identify factors and trends that inform management decision making and quality self-assessment. This, and Sarah’s strong technical aptitude, means that Sarah provides meaningful, accurate and timely reports based on complex data from a range of sources. She always takes the time to discuss and understand the requirement before performing any analysis.
Again, her understanding of a range of technical platforms and the use of data within the sector mean that her interpretation is always sound. Data Analyst Apprenticeship has meant that I have been able to improve my reporting ability and my ability to analyze data to a higher level using new systems such as R Studio and SQL Management Studio. This is giving the Senior Management Team more in depth and detailed data and analysis to enable them to make business critical decisions and drive forward better practice in apprenticeships and delivery. The experience and knowledge gained through the apprenticeship, along with a previously gained Leadership and Management qualification, sets out a career path which could lead to higher roles with more responsibility.
